About this spot

The site was opened back in 1959 by Mr Donald and Mrs Anne Mackenzie who ran it for many decades. Their youngest son Mr Reay S Mackenzie now owns the site and will continue to run and make improvements to it. The site is located in the village of Bettyhill, on the A836 directly on the NC500 route. Just a short walk from the site is Farr Bay Beach. Torrisdale Bay is on the other side of the village and both beaches are popular with surfers, families and dog walkers.
