About this spot

Baysbrown Farm Campsite is located in the village of Chapel Stile at the entrance to the Great Langdale Valley in the heart of the Lake District. We are a working Lakeland sheep farm with an area set aside for camping. We like to be pretty casual about camping and operate on a first come first served basis. Turn up and pick your spot. There are no set pitches. Being in a valley bottom means we are exposed to the elements and it can be very wet and windy if we get a typical British summer.
